The armory and the flag are heraldic symbols of Roskomnadzor, they were established by the Order No. 97 of May 10, 2011 of the Ministry of Communications and Mass Media of the Russian Federation (registered by the Ministry of Communications and Mass Media of the Russian Federation on June 28, 2011; registration number 21209). Images of the armory and the flag had been approved beforehand by the Heraldic Council of the Presidential Executive Office of the Russian Federation.

The Roskomnadzor armory is a golden double-headed eagle with one crown, holding a silver torch crossed with a silver scroll. The eagle has a blue shield on its chest with a gold "Pillar of Law" above a gold lightning crossed with a goose quill. The emblem of the Federal Service for Supervision of Communications, Information Technology, and Mass Media can be represented in monochrome.

The Roskomnadzor flag is a blue rectangular field with the flag of the Russian Federation in the canton. The Roskomnadzor emblem is in the center of the right part of the cloth. The width to length ratio of the flag is 2:3. The canton content to the flag content ratio is 1:4. The emblem height to the flag width ratio is 1:2.
